What We Do
Snagov Foundation ( is a registered Not for Profit Organization) set-up formally in December 2007 with the primary aim to champion the development of the Snagov Area. Snagov Foundation activities are directed in 4 main areas called Commissions (Each Commission has its own team, projects and budgets):
COMISSION A: Sustainable / continuous development of the Rural areas in the Snagov Region through Efficient Use/Administration of Resources in Snagov Area
COMISSION B: To bolster the economic development of the region through Development & Promotion of responsible Eco-Tourism
COMISSION C: The foundation is the custodian of the protected area of the Snagov lake & Snagov Woods. In this role the foundation plays an important role in the management of Ecology, Environment & Biodiversity
COMISSION D: To promote local culture, and facilitate education and professional
